The Palm Beach Post which is the major news paper in the Palm Beach County had their business reporter Allison Ross attend one of our parties and will be featuring our company in a story this week. Once the story is published we will add a link to our blog so everyone can read it and use it as outside documentation on our company.
Pamela Silva anchor for Spanish television's Univision 23’s and TeleFutura 69’s Morning Newscasts attended one of our parties in Miami to report on the growing trend of in home gold parties. It was very exciting to have them do a story on our company because they have been receiving calls from their viewers about gold parties and wanted to find the right company to feature. Ms. Silva told us that she had researched many companies but didn't feel comfortable with most because they paid the guests with checks. She chose our company because someone had attended one of our parties and knew we paid in on the spot so our guests don't have to worry about checks bouncing. One of our most trusted partners Pedro Linares was interviewed and even though I don't know Spanish but from what I could tell it went well! The story will air on March 13, 2009. Ms. Silva also told me stations in smaller markets usually pick up the stories her station produces and airs them in their local markets nationwide.
It is very rewarding to know we are getting the recognition because our company was founded on doing the right thing and treating our hosts and guests at parties fairly. We made a commitment to do the right thing no matter what which in our society goes against the philosophy of most companies. Many companies as evidenced by the melt down in our economy only care about their bottom line and how much their CEO's can take in bonuses. We know times are tough and we are providing a service for individuals to safely part with their old jewelry they no longer want and get paid fairly. Our company does not have the over head of advertising or renting hotels to host events so we are able to pay significantly more than most companies. many of our guests that have attended one of our parties have expressed that they feel more comfortable attending a party at a friends house as opposed to standing in line at a hotel or mailing their gold, silver, and platinum across the country to a company and people they have never met.
